The Schützenberger involution on Kashiwara-Nakashima tableaux
 
 
Description:  The Schützenberger involution, due to Schützenberger, originally appeared in type A root system, using the model of semistandard Young tableaux. In this talk, we present a type C realization of the Schützenberger involution using the model of Kashiwara-Nakashima tableaux. Like in type A, our type C realization of the Schützenberger involution flips the Kashiwara crystal in type C upside down. This means that the Schützenberger and Lusztig involutions coincide in type C. We then use this involution to explore some properties of the Robinson-Schensted correspondence in type C related to Sundaram and Pfannerer-Rubey-Westbury results. Another realization in type C of this involution is due to C. Lenart using a different model.
