On noncommutative hypergeometric series
 
 
Description:  We provide two different noncommutative versions of the Gauss hypergeometric function, in the most general setting of hypergeometric functions over an abstract unital Banach algebra, and we show that any of them is the unique solution of a differential hypergeometric equation analytic at z=0 with value I, the identity element, at z=0
