| Abstract: |
The UT Austin - Portugal International Collaboratory for Emerging Technologies (CoLab) is a program funded by the Portuguese National Science Foundation (FCT) which is aimed to develop advanced programs of research and education in collaboration with the University of Texas at Austin.
The cooperative initiative involves the Institute for Computational Engineering and Science (ICES) and the Department of Mathematics at UT-Austin and mathematical research centers and groups in four Portuguese universities, namely at the Mathematics Department of Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), the Mathematics Department of the School of Sciences of UL (FCUL), the Mathematics Department of the School of Sciences and Technology of UNL (FCTUNL), and the Department of Mathematics of the School of Sciences and Technology of U. Coimbra (FCTUC).
