In this talk, we explore symmetries present in the cotree of a cograph \( G \) and apply these ideas to obtain parts of the spectra of matrices associated with \( G \). As applications, we present some equienergetic cographs and show a bound for the minimum number of distinct eigenvalues of a threshold graph.
