Smooth representations of groups associated with algebras defined over non-archimedean fields

Description:  In this talk, I will show a description of the irreducible smooth representations of algebra groups, unit groups of a split basic algebra and involutive algebra groups over a non-archimedean field (for example the p-adic field). In particular, I will discuss the admissibility and unitarisability of the irreducible smooth representations. In the end, if time permits I will give some examples.
