Attractors of trajectory spaces in fluid mechanics

Description:  It often happens in fluid mechanics that initial and boundary value problems are not known to be uniquely solvable.  In this case the dynamics can be appropriately treated in terms of trajectory spaces.  The talk will review a few concepts of attractors applicable to trajectory spaces and cover the applications thereof to particular models of fluid mechanics, including Navier-Stokes equations, the Jeffreys body, the model of polymer solutions, and a fluid with memory.
