Statistical stability in chaotic systems (CANCELLED)

Description:  We will make a brief introduction to the theory of dynamical systems, focusing our attention on the class of chaotic systems. We will pay special attention to the Lorenz attractor, well known for the "butterfly effect". We will see that, despite the impossibility of predicting the evolution of these systems from a deterministic point of view, we can have good information about their evolution from a statistical point of view, through physical probability measures.
