Sub-semi-Riemannian geometry on Heisenberg-type groups
 
 
Description:  Sub-semi-Riemannian geometry is a new subject generalizing sub-Riemannian and semi-Riemannian geometries. I will introduce basic notions and facts from the theory of sub-semi-Riemannian geometry, show examples of sub-semi-Riemannian manifolds, namely, some Heisenberg-type groups equipped with nondegenerate metric and conclude with some results obtained on general Heisenberg-type groups with nondegenerate metric concerning geodesics.
