A distance on the space of Radon measures with application to spatial population dynamics
 
 
Description:  We introduce a new optimal transport distance between nonnegative finite Radon measures, derive associated Riemannian structure and develop an Otto calculus.  As an application, we identify a model in spatial population dynamics as a gradient flow and obtain long-time convergence results.
