Portuguese Group on Special Functions, Orthogonal Polynomials and Applications

  Logo

Description:

The purpose of this Group is to promote, in Portugal, the research in Special Functions and Orthogonal Polynomials and their relation with close fields such as Approximation Theory, Number Theory, Linear Algebra, and Matrix Analysis; and to encourage and support the exchange of information, ideas and techniques.

Portuguese researchers who are interested in joining this initiative can write to any member requesting registration in the group. All those interested in Special Functions and Orthogonal Polynomials in a broad sense are welcome!

Sponsors: FCT, CMAT, CMUC, CMUP
