The CMUC Advisory Committee, composed of Henrique Bursztyn (IMPA - Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics, Brazil), Irene Fonseca (Carnegie Mellon University, USA), Martin Hyland (University of Cambridge, United Kingdom), Franco Pellerey (Politecnico di Torino, Italy) and Walter Van Assche (KU Leuven, Belgium), visited our centre on 16-17 January. The meetings were dedicated to strategic reflection on the main lines of scientific and institutional development of CMUC, bringing together the members of the Advisory Committee and the centre's researchers. The meeting resulted in relevant contributions to strengthening the quality of research carried out at CMUC, as well as increasing its national and international visibility.
