We are starting the learning seminar titled ALGELYSIS - (ir)Regularity, Group Theory and the Machinery of Counterexamples. The seminar is based on the book Nonlinear Elliptic Equations and Nonassociative Algebras, by Nikolai Nadirashvili, Vladimir Tkachev and Serge Vladut. 

Our primary focus is the algebraic construction (based on division algebras, Cayley-Dickinson constructions, Jordan algebras, and related concepts) of solutions to uniformly elliptic equations. Such solutions play a fundamental role in the sense that they set important questions about optimal regularity for this class of equations.

We will meet on Fridays at 3:30 PM, starting on 14 November, in Room 5.5. Those who are interested can also join online. Everyone is very welcome to join us.
