1. ECMI2020 conference meeting:

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you all to the 21st ECMI conference, which will take place in Limerick, Ireland, from 22-26 June 2020. I am sure it will be an excellent memorable event and a great opportunity to strengthen collaborations between researchers and companies, promoting innovation and enhancing industry-academia relations at the international level. Please notice that the deadline for submission for mini symposium proposals is the 13th January 2020.

2. EMS Summers Schools in Applied Mathematics:

The call for ESSAM 2020 is open (from the AMC webpage) till january 6th, 2020. Please forward the information to any organizers of summer schools in applied math that could be interested - either by a financial support (max 2000€) or by the EMS label (that can be useful as efficient leverage for local financial support) - and/or to your favourite national learned societies.

The EMS Applied Mathematics Committee announces that the call is still open until 6th January 2020, for any summer school in the area of Applied Mathematics organized during 2020 and open to international participants.

Please be proactive in finding strong candidates for this important prize of the European Mathematica Society (EMS).
