Description:	This is a short course of two lectures by M. Boggi (Universidad de Los Andes, Bogotá) on Galois covers of the moduli space of curves. The first lecture will consist of a self-contained introduction to Teichmüller theory and the mapping class group and the second lecture will be about the general theory of Galois covers of Mg.
