On January 4, 2024, the University of Coimbra's Mathematics Department will host the "Workshop on Numerical Analysis", a workshop celebrating the 60th birthday of José Augusto Ferreira. This workshop will bring together researchers working in numerical analysis, including former students and recent collaborators of José Augusto Ferreira.
