Calculus of operator functions

Description:  The basic problem of calculus is how much does a change in the variable x effects the function f(x). The question when the variable x is a matrix is of interest in several contexts. Noncommutativity of matrices leads to special problems and techniques have been invented to handle that. We will present a selection of results and ideas.
